Tend gardens and community in queer-affirming joyful space
Join us for the Gay in the Garden for collective tending, harvesting, garden care, art-making, and queer-centered community-building. Gay in the Garden is a space for queer folks and their allies to come together for both unstructured and facilitated time in the garden to show up freely and authentically.
New gardeners to seasoned farmers are invited to bring their knowledge, skills, and curiosity to this drop-in style bi-monthly program to tend to each other while we tend to our garden.
Each Sunday, expect to grow your horticulture skills through collective garden work like weeding, watering, composting, and various garden care tasks followed by a communal harvest and potluck. Monthly, we’ll explore the wisdom the garden offers us in our current season and invite queer culture-bearers to lead us in communal nature-based artmaking and ecological knowledge shares.
