Combine the art and science of observation in weekly botanical arts class in this special March series
Join Parrish Finn, in this special winter series, and be inspired by a diversity of plant species through botanical art at the greenhouse. Practice drawing, painting, and printmaking as a way to explore the incredible diversity of the plant kingdom while looking deeply at individual plants and their unique structures- communicating our discoveries and understandings visually as both scientists and artists. Learn the foundations of basic botany- such as identifying the parts of the plant- as well as artistic processes such as monotype printmaking, watercolor, and life drawing.
This class welcomes all ages and skill levels.
